David’s Bridal (yes, THE David’s Bridal) recently launched a modest wedding dress collection featuring six demure designs – and it’s full of sophisticated gorgeousness, high necklines, and full lengths! You likely already know about David’s Bridal. I mean, you probably purchased your wedding or bridal dress there because it’s the number one spot for beautiful gowns and bridal accessories that won’t break the bank. What you may not know is that recently launched a modest wedding dress collection to cater to a conservative bride, and their dresses aren’t dowdy (!!!); in fact, they feature some of the top trends in modest wedding dresses.
1) Romantic Sleeves
Sleeves are in, folks! After years of reigning amongst the bridal circuit, sleeveless dresses are finally taking a backseat to dresses with sleeves – particularly dresses with romantic, flutter sleeves like those pictured in the dress pictured below. This dress also features my favorite wedding gown silhouette: A-line. It’s universally flattering and eternally beautiful. If I had to get married today, this would be a STRONG contender for the dress I’d choose to walk the aisle in.

Thanks to the 80s, high collars received a bad rep for a while. Designers have figured out how to modernize this demure neckline so 21st-century brides can prance down the aisle confidently with maximum coverage. I adore this high-neckline dress from David’s bridal because pf the artful embellishments and the surprising side split with tulle peeking out. The flowing chapel train is the perfect finishing touch.
